Our customer, a UK based tech company, is looking for a talented and experienced Legal Counsel to add to their team. This is a permanent role based in London.
Key Requirements:
UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a current practicing certificate. Significant commercial law experience, with a majority of experience working in-house. Proven ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice to senior management and key stakeholders. Strong skills in negotiation and drafting commercial contracts. Experience in managing and overseeing litigation processes. Experience in regulatory law, preferably within financial services (insurance experience is highly desirable) or telecoms regulation, or from a similar regulatory background. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proactive and independent, able to take ownership of projects and tasks from start to finish. Exceptional written communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Nice to haves:
Dual qualification, ideally from an EU member state such as the Republic of Ireland, or international legal experience.
