BCaring in Kingston upon Thames Job Description

We are looking for caring, reliable individuals with excellent communication and organisation skills, a calm and friendly personality, and a good sense of humour. Although this is a Health Care position, you do not need previous experience or a science background, provided you can show an active interest in health and/or medicine. Full training and support will be provided. Our Health Care PAs learn how to support and deliver home infusions in a sterile environment, check and order medical supplies, and provide companionship, support with personal grooming, and routine housework. Specialist infusion training will be provided at NHS St Helier Hospital on three separate dates; you will attend these training sessions in your own time. Other professional training, such as first aid, is made available free of charge from time to time. We work well with all ages, and we arrange our short shifts to fit in with your personal timetable. Shifts vary and are typically around 2 hours, two to three shifts a week, most starting at 8 am, with at least one 6:30 am start per month. Although driving is not essential for the healthcare post, we are also looking for a PA who can drive for outings or hospital visits from time to time. BCaring is a friendly, well-managed care team, run for the wellbeing of one woman by her family at her private home. She is fun, in her mid-40s, professionally employed, and has complex medical conditions. BCaring is publicly funded and is not an agency or a care home. We do not host a website for reasons of confidentiality, but you can search "BCaring Team Manager" on LinkedIn for recommendations. We embrace diversity in all its forms.
