We are currently looking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager for one of our key clients based in the Burntwood area.
Client Details
Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke Engineering products for a number of customers. They are a well-established business who are number 1 supplier of bespoke equipment in the food, pharma and manufactures. After recruiting a new head of operations for them we now seek you to head up the Health, Safety and quality for the business. They seek to modernise and need new ideas and input.
You’ll be a key part in driving this change.
On a day to day basis you will;
Manage all Health and Safety operations across the manufacturing sites
Manage quality control
Provide operational support for the utilities and site services areas.
Health and Safety Managers requirements
Good knowledge of health and safety legislation. Able to keep abreast of trends and related best practice.
Open and approachable style.
Good communicator, able to deliver H&S, risk and compliance messages
Evidence of interpersonal skills. Able to develop good working relationships with colleagues, customers and external stakeholders.
Works well both as an individual and in a team.
Motivated individual with a positive attitude.
Strong organisational skills.
