This role will include typical day-to-day financial activities and is pivotal in developing new finance functions for the business, as well as working strategically across all teams, managing budgets, assessing cash flow, and evaluating any financial risks that may arise. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director, as well as the Senior Leadership and wider team. Our client is open to applications from candidates seeking a full or part-time position.
As Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Management of profit and loss
Producing in-depth statements and key financial documents
Reviewing monthly financial performance and projecting profitability
Liaising with internal teams including Account Managers to assess work in progress and expected income

Producing comprehensive financial guides to help steer the business and influence decision-making
Conducting regular audits to ensure financial compliance across the business
Identifying cost-saving strategies

Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the pipeline is kept up to date across the business, including KPI monitoring and reporting
Managing external relationships including with Accountants and banks as well as other financial organizations
Overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping activities including payroll, invoicing, and credit control
While there will be no direct reports immediately, the team is likely to grow, and therefore team management responsibilities will be included in the role
