Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is looking for an experienced radiographer to fill the role of modality superintendent for the MRI service. Working in partnership with the CT superintendent, the post holder will be jointly responsible for operational leadership of the CT and MRI scanning service, function as an expert and professional leader, and be responsible for clear and visible managerial, clinical, and strategic leadership of the MRI scanning service. The post holder will use professional discretion and experience to ensure a safe, high-quality MRI scanning service delivery that meets clinical practice, legal standards, and requirements. They will act as a role model for PHU Trust values and provide direction, advice, and support to the team and individuals within the CT and MRI service.
