Chemical Regulatory Specialist - Part-time
24 hours per week, flexible working days.
Salary around £40,000 pro-rata.
Location: Alfreton.
Family-run manufacturing business producing a range of commercial and household cleaning products and specialist coatings based in Derbyshire. They are looking for a chemist with a technical regulatory background including knowledge and experience of the following: Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring to GB and EU regulations. Detergent labelling & transport information authoring. SDS management – for internal & suppliers. Management of MySDS portal. REACH compliance management. Label checks for compliance. PFAS / SVHC compliance. Monitoring of new chemical regulations and changes to existing standards. Candidate: Relevant technical / regulatory background, knowledge as listed above. Must have suitable chemical industry / manufacturing experience. Looking for part-time work only. Excellent verbal and written English. High level communication skills. Comfortable with a variety of IT / software packages. This job is not suitable for a recent graduate.
