LWC pay scale starts at £31,200 for new teachers, up to £60K We are seeking to appoint a full or part-time Teacher (or Head) of Computer Science. The Teacher/Head of Computer Science will identify and promote best practices within the Computer Science department and coordinate cross-curricular initiatives both within and beyond LWC. They will liaise with the Heads of Year and the Head of Academic Enrichment as required and attend Heads of Department and other scheduled meetings as appropriate. You will be expected to carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the College’s policies under the direction of the Headmaster. Teaching at LWC requires that members of the academic staff be willing to contribute fully to the life of the College. This includes tutoring, co-curricular involvement, boarding house duties, cover duties and attending parents’ evenings for the year groups taught. Liaison with parents is included in the sphere of the teacher’s responsibilities.
