£45,000 - £48,000 Invicta Law is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solicitor to join our Employment, Privacy and Governance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing top-quality legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including Kent County Council, schools, academies, and external clients. As a Solicitor in our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal services, including advocacy before Employment Tribunals, providing advice on complex employment law issues, and managing a caseload of employment litigation. You will also work closely with our Head of Group and colleagues across Invicta Law to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services to our clients. Represent clients at Tribunals and Courts or assist counsel in the representation. Advise on a wide range of employment law matters, including TUPE, employee relations, and governance. Manage a full caseload of employment-related cases with some supervision. Conduct legal research and share findings with the team to support case preparation. Provide legal support to other teams within Invicta Law as needed. Deliver training updates to HR officers. Comply with internal quality assurance processes and assist in ensuring adherence to the Quality and Business Manual. What we need from you: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive. Proven experience in employment law, including ideally advocacy before Employment Tribunals and advising on TUPE and related matters. Thorough knowledge of Employment law, with a willingness to support matters related to Education law, Policy Reviews, LGPS Pension matters, and Data Protection. Ability to manage your own caseload and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to work proactively and use initiative to meet urgent client needs.
