Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food and beverage operations.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring tables are set correctly and promptly cleared after use.
Support bartending activities, including mixing drinks and serving beverages as required.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
Assist with catering events, helping to set up, serve, and clean up as needed.
Engage with guests to enhance their experience, offering recommendations and assistance throughout their visit.
Skills
Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred.
Bartending skills are advantageous for those looking to expand their role within the team.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help others, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
