It is clear that the role owner cannot be expert on all the topics from day 1, but is expected to be able to build up an international network of subject-matter experts to rely on and support them as the role requires. Responsible for providing support to the Cost Engineering function, in the analysis of the business costs, categorisation, and recording within the Cost Engineering database. The role will work alongside the Cost Estimating managers, working on the Estimation and Analysis of all NRC costs related to the Concept/Assessment/Development/Support of Weapon Systems, UK Air Platform Integration and munitions. More specifically, they have to: Support the establishment of the Cost Target brochure Contribute to the definition of the offer cost base Support the implementation of Design for competitiveness approach in the bid preparation, and continue to support through all of the project life cycle Support the creation, calibration and use of cost model What we're looking for from you: Experience in the Production and Engineering Areas dealing with Weapon System platforms (Maritime or Air) or Missiles Beneficial to have experience in the use of the companies engineering and management tools (SAP, P6, DRM, MATRIX…) Proven understanding and experience of improving the Cost Estimating credibility of the business Experience with Microsoft Excel to manage varying volumes of cost data is required Our company:
