Wise Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor. Working in a luxury hotel in the Plymouth area, you will need to ensure you have previous experience in a supervisory position in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities:

Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience. Minimize and handle complaints professionally in accordance with our policies. Supervise and manage the Restaurant team in line with company policies and manuals. Work with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to maximize sales performance and achieve sales targets. Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs. Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual. Ensure service of food and drinks is done quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards. Work with the Restaurant Manager to ensure the team is trained and effective in their roles. Ensure menu training is carried out as per the release of new menus. Carry out relevant admin within the department to meet business needs. Employ relevant staff for the department and follow correct recruitment and induction procedures. Assist in any function or event setups in accordance with procedures. Maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, ensuring accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales. Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations. Ensure service meets the standards to maintain and achieve relevant awards for Acleaf. Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy. Foster good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel. Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
