The Opportunity As Sephora UK embarks on an exciting period of rapid growth, we’re enhancing our approach to demand planning for strategic brands, both existing and future, to drive our business forward. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with Category Management teams and key suppliers, crafting strategic medium- and long-term forecasts to ensure that the right products are available, in the right place, at the right time. Your efforts will be instrumental in strengthening relationships with top suppliers, supporting our in-store and online stock availability across key brands, and maximizing our impact on the UK beauty market. What You’ll Do Manage demand planning for strategic brands, creating medium- and long-term operational forecasts to support inventory optimization. Collaborate with local and central teams to enhance Sales Forecast Accuracy (SFR) for strategic brands. Integrate strategic brand forecasts into the wider demand planning and forecasting processes. Represent the Supply Chain team in strategic brand meetings, ensuring alignment with key brand objectives. Develop expertise in our current planning tools, contributing to the SAP/Relex migration project for demand planning improvements. What You’ll Bring As a seasoned Demand Planner, you will leverage your extensive experience in developing detailed forecasts and utilizing advanced forecasting tools to drive our success. Comfortable managing multiple brands, you'll ensure our strategic plans are seamlessly executed within the broader Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework. This role is primarily based at our London office, with occasional travel for brand meetings, where you'll proudly represent our Supply Chain alongside the Category Management team. Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess: Extensive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, ideally within the cosmetics or FMCG industries. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of interpreting large data sets to drive strategic insights. Proven leadership in demand planning initiatives, with a passion for mentoring team members and influencing stakeholders at all levels. In-depth knowledge of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and its essential role in enhancing business performance. A talent for blending strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring that demand forecasts align with commercial goals. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage. While at Sephora, you’ll enjoy... The people.
