Key Responsibilities: Carry out termination of pregnancy by the appropriate method to evacuate the products of conception and ensure complete abortion in accordance with BPAS clinical policies and procedures. Complete client consultation if needed and complete the statutory documentation. Assess and provide advice on the management of clients with medical or other conditions which may affect the abortion process. Be present in the operating theatre throughout each procedure and remain on site until all clients have been assessed fit for discharge from recovery or passed to the care of another on-site doctor. Provide support, advice and guidance to nursing staff in the management of unexpected outcomes. Further Information: Location: BPAS Middlesbrough Hours / Working Pattern: Thursday Salary: £101,000 - £151,000 per annum (pro rata for part time) depending on gestational skills & experience.
