It is an exciting time to be a nurse at Urgent and Emergency Care Centre, Rotherham Hospital. We have a permanent part-time position. As Sister / Charge Nurse you will help lead and manage the department so that high quality, evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients and their carers. You will be an integral member of our team who maintain the emergency access standards. You must be committed to providing high quality nursing care; you will provide strong leadership and mentorship to junior staff and help support the senior team. You will be a highly visible leader and be experienced as a professional role model. In working in a progressively changing environment, you will promote the Trust's values and be committed to high standards of service delivery. Demonstrable appropriate post-registration experience. Demonstrable experience of working in an emergency department environment covering both triage and resuscitation. Recruitment and selection experience. Knowledge

Demonstrates knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures e.g., NHS national policies, standards, requirements, and directions that relate to patient care. Professional Registration/PIN

Current level one NMC registration Registered Nurse. Evidence of continuing professional development. Mentorship qualification (or willingness to work towards). Triage trained (with evidence). Advanced Life Support (valid). Paediatric Life Support. European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) or equivalent. Level 2 Trauma Training (TNCC or equivalent). Disclosure and Barring Service Check
