The post is offered as 10 programmed activities (PAs) over five days. Qualifications

Hold a medical qualification registered with the GMC Minimum of 2 years exposure to Gastroenterology Medicine in a specialist training programme or equivalent ATLS/ETLS, ALS, EPALS/EPLS/APLS or have arranged a place on a course 12 months continuous experience within the NHS MRCEM or equivalent Competence in appropriate clinical procedures Able to prioritize clinical need, time, and workload Ability to assess, recognize, and initiate management of the acutely ill patient and play an effective part in advanced life support Experience of setting up and/or developing clinical services Teaching and Supervision

Experience in teaching & supervising medical students and junior trainees Communication Skills

Written and spoken English adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients & colleagues Successful completion of advanced communication skills training Leadership

Strategic thinker with an enquiring, critical approach to work Contributes to improving patient experience and involving patients in decisions about their care Disclosure and Barring Service Check
