Our trust was established in April 2012 as the only fully integrated provider of health services to an isolated offshore population of 140,000. Community, mental health and learning disabilities services will soon transfer to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust partnering with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. Based at the heart of the Island, with 266 beds and handling around 27,000 admissions each year, St Mary's Hospital in Newport is our main base for delivering acute services for the Island's population. Assessing and monitoring patient conditions Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What you'll need:
Statement of NMC Registration Degree/Diploma in Nursing Successful completion of preceptorship Good range knowledge/appreciation of a range of models of practice in social and health care including experience of delivering CBT based interventions Application/Interview/Portfolio Minimum of 6 months experience in the last 3 years or completion of a Return to Practice within the last 3 years in your area of specialism *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills The benefits we can offer you in return:
