We are looking for a reliable and flexible pharmacist with excellent organisational skills to join our team in Outpatient Pharmacy. As a member of the Outpatient pharmacy team, you would contribute to the provision of a range of pharmaceutical services: issuing prescriptions, giving advice where appropriate, and working alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures to meet the needs of our customers.
This post would suit somebody with a hospital pharmacy background or with community pharmacy experience wishing to transition into the hospital environment. Further training and development will be provided.
We require our Bank pharmacist to help cover one regular day a week and annual leave for regular pharmacists. You will gain experience with hospital-only medicines and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
The Outpatient pharmacies are based on the Basingstoke and Winchester sites of Hampshire Hospitals, and cross-site working will be required. Our opening times are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and weekend working is not required.
