About the Role: Are you a qualified and caring Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule? We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team, providing high-quality childcare and education to nurseries across York. This ad-hoc role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a variety of settings and is committed to supporting children’s early development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Responsibilities: Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0-5 years. Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities. Follow nursery policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care. Work collaboratively with nursery teams to meet the needs of children and families. Adapt to different nursery settings and build positive relationships quickly.
Requirements: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Flexibility to work in different nurseries across York on short notice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one. Right to work in the UK.
