About the role Payables Accounting
Processing purchase invoices in accordance with the appropriate approvals Support Purchase Order and Purchase Invoice enquiries to ensure compliance and efficiency Process payment card and expenses transaction into the ledgers Support with regular supplier payment runs Perform supplier statement reconciliations Support the management of the AP Mailbox and investigate/resolve supplier queries Ledger activities
Manage changes to the Supplier Master Prepare and/or post journals such as accruals and prepayments Support the completion of ONS returns for the UK Group Support the delivery of internal and external audit documentation (such as invoice copies, proof of supplier payment etc.) Support the wider Finance team and any future Finance system testing
Do you have what it takes? The ability to deliver to tight timescales and deadlines consistently Excellent day to day planning and organisational skills Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results oriented Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels The ability to engage and influence colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives. Sound bookkeeping knowledge
What can you expect from us in return? £26,000 - £28,000 per annum Generous Annual Leave
