We are now recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) to become part of our wider health care team, which provides high standards of care to our patients. This advert is for positions across our surgery and critical care division, including: Trauma and orthopaedic Theatres Ophthalmology You will attend a robust clinical induction program and comprehensive practical based program to gain the skills and knowledge to provide quality care to our patients. We will provide you with the tools to gain your care certificate if you have not already completed it. We welcome applications for those seeking both full and part-time employment; the minimum contract we can offer is 24.5 hours per week. Main duties of the job

Our HCSWs work as part of the ward/department team under the supervision of registered nurse/midwife and: Participates in the delivery of patient care Contributes towards ward/department organisation Supports registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment Completes the National Care Certificate About us

Education and experience

Level One Functional Skills in maths and English or above. Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of quality of care Able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues verbally and in writing Previous experience in health care Skills
