Overview Please note this position is an in-office position and will be based out of our Sandbach office in Cheshire. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process. This role involves assisting the lawyer in managing the legal aspects of residential property transactions, ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations. The successful applicant will be adept at communicating with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders, providing exceptional service throughout the transaction. Responsibilities Assist the lawyer in managing all aspects of residential property transactions from the first stages through to completion. Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Assist in preparing legal documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of progress and addressing any queries or concerns. Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals involved in the transaction. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process. Ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements. Utilise IT systems effectively to manage case files and documentation. Experience The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in residential conveyancing or a similar role within a legal environment. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain accurate records and manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with clients and stakeholders professionally. A solid understanding of office IT systems relevant to the conveyancing process.
