Quality & Compliance Manager

Exciting Opportunity: Quality & Compliance Manager (Telford, Shropshire) We are proud to be working with a long-standing manufacturing business in Telford with their search for an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role involves both Quality & Compliance related duties, but this role has slightly more emphasis and bias on Quality. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience within the Manufacturing or Engineering sector; previous experience within the Automotive, Commercial Vehicles or HGV/LGV industry would be well received. The working hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, with a 2.45pm finish on a Friday. This role comes with an attractive annual salary up to £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience). What You Will Do: Spearhead the management, maintenance, and improvement of ISO Quality Management systems including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001. Conduct regular reviews and maintain all internal procedures and associated documents. Organize and manage monthly/quarterly ISO system meetings and perform planned site audits. Initiate and oversee health & safety procedures within the workplace, ensuring a safe and compliant environment. Lead the relationship with the Vehicle Certification Agency and manage annual audits, ensuring all conversions comply with regulations and legislation. What You Will Bring: Proven understanding and experience in managing ISO Quality Systems (ISO9001 as a bare minimum). Background in engineering, manufacturing, or a similar technical business environment. Strong capability in identifying and managing business improvements. Experience in internal reporting and managing external audits. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel. Location: Telford, Shropshire.
