Corporate Accountant
to play a critical role in delivering a professional finance service across the council. You will assist in a range of activities including preparation of the council’s revenue budgets, regular budget monitoring reporting and production of the council’s statutory accounts. You will have responsibility for grants, taxation and the collection fund. You will bring fresh ideas and a modern approach to continuously improve the finance service provision and work collaboratively across the organisation to support new projects and initiatives. Minimum Requirements: AAT qualified with experience of working in a finance environment. Previous involvement in budget preparation and monitoring. Experience in the closure of accounts processes.
