Interim HR Manager Role Duration: 4-6 weeks About Our Client Our client is an esteemed establishment in the not-for-profit sector, committed to making a positive impact in the Canterbury community. They are seeking an interim HR Manager for a period of 4-6 weeks. Job Description Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Deal with ER matters. Manage the recruitment and selection process. The Successful Applicant A successful HR Manager should have: A degree in Human Resources or CIPD qualification. Immediate availability and commitment to a 4-6 week assignment. Proven experience as an HR Manager or other HR executive. People-oriented and results-driven. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
