Risk and Compliance - Manager level, 9-Month Contract Our client is a boutique financial services business (funds / wealth management) looking for a dynamic legal, risk and compliance professional to join their team for a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will be working directly with the Head of Risk and Compliance as their 2IC, gaining hands-on and broad exposure managing the risk and compliance function. Responsibilities: Ongoing monitoring and review of compliance obligations and risk management frameworks Conducting risk and compliance monitoring activities and risk assessments Drafting, implementing, and reviewing policies and procedures Managing incidents, breaches, and complaints, managing all registers Reviewing promotional materials and disclosure documents Preparing board and committee papers Preparing and delivering risk and compliance training and education programs Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative changes Providing risk and compliance advice to the business Ideal Candidate: Circa 4-7 years legal, risk, and compliance experience Background in financial services, especially in funds management and wealth management Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Ability to be hands-on and work in a fast-paced environment Relevant tertiary qualifications This is a great opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic candidate looking to see the breadth of a risk and compliance function.
