The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team starting in January 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT looking to make a difference in a supportive and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage students of varying abilities. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure all students meet their potential. Support the Maths department in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies. About You: We are looking for a candidate who is: A qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Knowledgeable and passionate about teaching Mathematics, with a strong understanding of the curriculum. Committed to promoting high standards of learning and achievement. Skilled at using assessment data to support students' progress and attainment. Eager to contribute to the school community and supportive of our ethos and values.
