Hays Senior Finance is exclusively partnering with a 16m turnover family owned business based on the outskirts of Devizes.
The role Oversee the day-to-day functions of the finance department (team of 4) Develop and implement finance procedures to meet business and finance department needs Daily management of Accounting IT system providing support throughout the business Details
Lead the company's accounting function with the support of the finance team including:
Accurate production of monthly consolidated management accounts Completion of balance sheet reconciliations at month end Continually maintain inter company accounts Daily bank reconciliations for the companies of the group Ultimate responsibility for the Accounting IT system including fault logging and resolution, training and reporting. Ensure the company's finance systems and processes are compliant, robust and support current activities and future growth. Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management & policies Ultimate responsibility and daily management of Invoice Financing facility Ensure budgeting processes are implemented and reviewed. Present annual accounts to investors/ Auditors Ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met Manage company policies and processes regarding capital requirements, debt, tax, equity, disposals and acquisitions Main point of contact for bank and auditors Skills needed
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels Methodical approach with attention to detail Prior experience and working knowledge of an accounts system (Access, SAP, SAGE etc) Excellent level of numeracy and literacy Excellent knowledge and experience of MS Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs) and Word Flexible approach to working What you need to do now
