About the Role:

We are a small group company with varying interests, seeking a dynamic and experienced

management accountant . The successful candidate will be independent, self-motivated, and committed to driving operational efficiency while maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate accounts for 2-3 small companies within the group.

Prepare projections and reconciliation.

Liaise with directors for financial matters.

Ensure compliance with banks and external stakeholders as necessary.

Key Requirements:

Proficient with Excel and commonly used accounting software.

Strong accounting and financial management experience, including preparing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

Experience in the care home and/or financial sector is an advantage but not a must.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A proactive, open-minded, and results-driven approach to leadership.

Education and Qualifications:

Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.

Previous experience in a senior management role overseeing both operations and finance.
