About the Role: As a Portfolio Manager Senior, you'll oversee larger commercial credits to ensure the portfolio meets soundness, profitability, and growth objectives. You'll provide essential credit, underwriting, and sales support, acting as a secondary contact for client relationships. Additionally, you'll lead a team of credit specialists, manage workflow, and engage in all aspects of the loan process, from underwriting to closing. Your role will also involve identifying cross-sell opportunities and supporting business development efforts. What You’ll Do: Portfolio Management:

Collaborate with lenders to manage the local loan portfolio, including annual reviews, past dues, covenant compliance, and more. Risk Assessment:

Work with senior leaders to maintain the proper risk profile of the market loan portfolio. Team Leadership:

Lead a team of credit specialists, portfolio managers, and analysts, managing workflow and ensuring high performance. Loan Process:

Engage in all aspects of the loan process, from calling and underwriting to presenting and closing. Client Interaction:

Serve as a secondary contact for clients, identifying cross-sell opportunities and supporting relational business development. Prospecting:

Assist lenders in prospecting efforts, making calls and gathering necessary information for credit analysis. What We’re Looking For: Experience: 7-10 years in financial services, specifically in commercial lending. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting preferred. Required Skills: Deep knowledge of credit policy, banking regulations, and loan documentation. Expertise in analyzing complex financial statements and tax returns. Strong analytical skills for evaluating client relationships and prospects. Ability to identify and mitigate risks in credit requests. Experience in preparing and presenting credit analysis packages. Proficiency in various loan structures and credit recommendations. Excellent communication skills for conveying complex information. Strong interpersonal and management skills for team development. Organizational and time management skills in a performance-driven environment. Understanding of and ability to promote the company’s credit culture. Advanced proficiency with internal systems and reporting. Excellent mathematical, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Commitment to compliance training and continuous learning. Preferred Skills: Proven leadership in managing and developing employees. Position Type: Full-time role with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed. Travel: Up to 20% travel required.
