Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms across various commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security systems, with a commitment to ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms, ensuring all systems are fully operational and compliant with relevant standards.

* Maintenance & Servicing: Perform regular maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on fire and security systems, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.

* System Upgrades: Recommend and implement system upgrades and improvements to enhance security and safety measures.

* Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current industry regulations, completing necessary documentation and reports.

* Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients to understand their needs and offering technical advice and support.

* Emergency Response: Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely and effective solutions to urgent issues.

* Training & Development: Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry developments, and participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills.

Key Requirements:

* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire and security engineering, with a strong focus on installation, maintenance, and servicing.

* Technical Knowledge: Proficient in working with various fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. Knowledge of British Standards for fire and security systems is essential.

* Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, NSI, ECS) are highly desirable.

* Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Driving License: A valid UK driving license is required, as the role involves travel to various sites across London.
