Glaven Ward are excited to recruit a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate to join the team on a permanent basis. We are a forward thinking and flexible team and we are looking to do things differently. Whilst there are some roles and responsibilities that can only be carried out by a Registered Nurse, we are looking to develop the role of an Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate to enable participation in a wider range of opportunities. This includes attending inpatient reviews, completing relevant documentation such as clinical notes and risk assessments (under the supervision of a Registered Nurse) and medication administration following completion of training and competency assessment. You would also be involved in change management projects such as quality improvement. You will support the Registered Nurses with the day to day activities and provide support to service users throughout their inpatient journey. Main duties of the job

Please note that this job role requires a Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent. This includes a Nurse Associate qualification. Previous inpatient mental health experience is desired but not essential but the successful candidate will need to have clinical experience. Person specification
