We are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at AXA Partners UK & Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Lead the balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide guidance and training on best practices for balance sheet reconciliation Support internal and external audits, addressing findings related to balance sheet accounts across the 5 UK managed entities Assist in preparing annual statutory accounts and statutory reporting for multiple entities Manage tax matters including VAT, indirect tax controls, and ad hoc tax queries for the UK and Ireland activities Promote and manage change within the finance function, identifying weaknesses in processes and controls and implementing solutions Perform monthly permanent control checks for Group and ad-hoc internal control checks as necessary Qualifications

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Previous experience in balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail A collaborative team player with a positive attitude About AXA
