The Role: M&G are looking for a Product Delivery Manager to onboard mandates awarded to M&G plc. The team is looking for an experienced Project Manager with previous experience at an Asset Manager. This is a great opportunity to work in a role that contributes enormous value to the company and offers valuable experience with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities for this role: Manage projects that deliver benefit to M&G plc. These will be wide-ranging in terms of subject/domain but will tend to be business change (and specifically the onboarding mandates awarded to M&G) rather than IT change projects. Ability to take a hands-on role within the project, working with fund managers and investment professionals. Manage senior stakeholders. Build successful relationships with the project delivery partners, including external legal advice, fund administrator, trustee/custodian, and auditor. Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls to support improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes, and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk. Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Project management experience within investment management with an understanding of different approaches. A proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects within a front office environment, across a wide range of functions. Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills. Strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders. Willingness to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects, considering evolving business priorities. Strong analytic and proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements. Highly motivated, proactive, and resilient. Ability to be flexible and to manage ambiguity during project delivery. Must be a team player and able to work with and through others. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, with strong relationship management skills and client relationship skills. Good awareness of related regulations (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID2, etc.). Ideally, but not obligatory: IMC A project management qualification such as Prince 2 Familiarity with Agile. Key Work Level Accountabilities - Manager or Expert For technical specialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise. Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost, and risk. Manages conflicts that may impact delivery. Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture. Identifies and anticipates the need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output. Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how, and experience.
