Our team called Global Services (GS) provides corporate support to business areas such as Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing and IT. This diverse team of experts, operators and specialists represent all levels from Partner to entry level staff, operating across the globe in multiple countries. Global Services is in short, the backbone of BCG. What You'll Do The Risk Product Portfolio (RPP) Lead role will be a key member of our Global Risk function, dedicated to leading our current squad (CORE compliance squad) and all planned and future squads including our Blueprint Risk assessment squad to manage AI risk and to comply with the EU AI Act. This role will also play a pivotal role in the success of our continuous monitoring initiative of key cross functional controls partnering with our Data and BI&A portfolio teams. In support of BCG's digital transformation, The RPP Lead will lead our Global Risk digital strategy agenda to drive innovation (including GenAI capabilities), scale, efficiency across our team and more effective risk management across BCG. This role and the evolution of this portfolio team is a critical component for BCG's alignment with how the US Department of Justice evaluates corporate compliance programs. The updated guidance now states that companies should use technology (including AI) to more effectively manage risk. We are on a journey with our portfolio team and are looking for someone who is excited for the future state of Risk at BCG! The RPP lead will be a functional thought leader, partnering closely with the Risk Leadership Team (RLT) and Technical Area Lead to drive innovation, insight and best practice, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and drive innovation to meet the evolving needs of our end users. This role requires an understanding and appreciation of risk and controls frameworks, market trends, and user requirements. This role requires a passionate agile expert who can enhance our agile capabilities and spread Scrum ways of working within our teams. You will take the lead within our portfolio and focus on value creation, growth, and service to our customers. You will be a senior leader who is dedicated and a passionate and inspiring people manager; are responsible for facilitating, supporting, and motivating your Portfolio members, with an ability to empower and bring out the best in people. Partnering with senior leadership, you will be accountable for delivering business results and value measured through specific KPIs / KRIs. You are a fast learner and passionate about understanding new industry sectors / fields. You know how to set strategic direction for your teams and are comfortable stepping out of the way while enabling your Product Owners and Squads to drive and deliver the work. You will also drive collaboration and knowledge sharing at all levels of the organization to break down siloes and achieve the best results for the organization. What You'll Bring A 12 - 15 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of delivering large scale programs and leading teams to solve complex business problems for business functions with significant business outcomes Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing technical solutions to meet business requirements Senior level experience leading, motivating, coaching and developing people and cross-functional teams Proven track record in managing and executing projects, delivering results and impact Passion for driving a firm-wide culture of Risk awareness, ownership and accountability A desire and openness to learning and continuous improvement, both of yourself and your team members Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment across the organization Experience in Agile methodology and ways of working, and the consulting industry is a plus Who You'll Work With The Chief Risk Officer and RLT, as well as other senior stakeholders, who will be your customers and for whom you shall help identify business needs and ensure they receive the best digital products The Risk Product Portfolio, setting their direction, establishing objectives and key results and ensuring that you maximize outputs and working products The portfolio's Tech Area Lead, your right hand that will be in charge of transforming business needs into technical outputs Other Portfolios (e.g. Legal Clears Squad, Client View Squad, Data Portfolio) and Center of Excellence leaders The BCG Investment Committee (a set of cross-functional MDPs) and Finance business partners Agile Coaches, that will ensure that you adopt agile principles, mindset and ways of working into your daily routine and who will coach you during the transformation Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
