Technical Pre-Sales Engineer - UK & Ireland (m/d/f)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Primarily manage Pre-Sales tasks in coordination with the Sales team for the UK & Ireland region with the flexibility to provide Pre-Sales support for other sub-regions within EMEA. Consult with customers, system integrators, consultants, and Riedel staff to design systems that meet and exceed client requirements both technologically and commercially. Produce full-scale, elaborate written technical proposals RFP/RFI tenders as required. Act as the technical ambassador of Riedel by delivering comprehensive product and technology demonstration sessions at our headquarters, ensuring customers and partners are well-equipped with product knowledge and showcasing our technical expertise. Take part in regular public engagements such as events, tradeshows, panels as required. Anticipate and plan the project phases in conjunction with the Professional Services team. Assist the Services team and Customers in project implementation as and when required. Organize and/or deliver product demonstrations (demos), POC’s, and solution presentations of products and solutions onsite or online. Proactively educate clients and business partners in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills. THAT'S YOU Successfully completed university studies or completed occupational training e.g. in electrical engineering, communications, audio and or video-engineering or IT. Pre-Sales / Engineering experience required. Excellent organization and communication skills with strong ability to schedule duties/projects according to priorities. Understanding of the Broadcast / Media Technology Market. Baseband and IP broadcast knowledge and knowledge of Intercom communication systems, audio and video technology. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio or CAD, experience with CRM’s and Project Management Tools. Maximum flexibility is paramount - able to work co-operatively with and across all company departments. Mobility and willingness to travel – lives within reach of a major airport (willing to travel up to 50% of the time). Ideal candidate will need to be within proximity of our UK Riedel office in the Greater London area; an approximate 50:50 split of office and home office is expected. Native English skills, with exceptional written and spoken proficiency. Other languages are a plus to support the different EMEA regions business. WE OFFER Life and Work balance
