About the Job

This position is central to our client’s mission of operational excellence and innovation. As the Senior Engineer specializing in extrusion maintenance, the successful candidate will oversee maintenance activities, ensure equipment compliance, and drive process improvement initiatives. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and a strategic mindset to support the company’s growth and commitment to sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead maintenance activities to ensure consistent operational performance. Develop and implement site maintenance procedures. Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and inspection standards. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve technical issues. Oversee equipment repairs, testing, and detailed record-keeping. Support projects involving site preparation, equipment installation, and commissioning. Requirements

Experience: At least 5 years as an extrusion maintenance engineer. At least 10 years in maintenance engineering roles.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A proactive and independent work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in injection molding and operational efficiency improvements.

Gross Salary Range:

£30,000–£45,000 per annum (based on experience). Performance bonus after 1 year. Cycle to Work Scheme. Pension Plan.

Contract Type:

Permanent (includes a 3–6 months probation period).
