Position: Bank Early Years Educator Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour Location: 29 Amy Rd, Oxted RH8 0PX Hours: Zero hour contract Reports to: Room Leader/Nursery Manager Working at Fennies is about loving what you do and having the passion to be the best at it! Your Journey Being a 'Bank Early Years Educator' offers the flexibility you need while playing a crucial role in providing care and building bonds with children and their families. You will assist with various routines across our age ranges, including naptimes, mealtimes, and creating engaging, personalised experiences for each child. Additionally, you will help maintain a clean and safe environment to ensure the children's safety. Supported by your Room Leader and the Fennies Learning and Development Team, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of early years education and grow within the role. You're the best at … Building caring relationships with children, families and your team Interacting with children in a respectful, responsible, age-appropriate way that is responsive to their needs Succeeding as a team by following the guidance of the Room Leader and making them aware of the children's needs Providing a consistent and reliable atmosphere to build trust Communicating and giving feedback to parents during handovers Telling managers your availability in advance of time and reliably committing to shifts You will need… Practical knowledge of developmental stages of under fives, alongside a natural passion for supporting and caring for young children, which may come from practical experience of caring for relatives or childminding experience.
