The Sponsor Liaison Officer will lead the enhancement of the student experience for the University’s international sponsored students, developing programmes to celebrate them and make them feel a special part of the University community in collaboration with other colleagues in the University. The successful candidate will manage the relationship and communications with international sponsors, ensuring pro-active reporting and timely responses to specific requests as well as managing relationships with both overseas and UK based sponsors and agents. In addition to this, the Sponsor Liaison Officer will manage and facilitate the University’s external scholarship providers such as Chevening and the Commonwealth, and the internal processes around Global Scholarships alongside undertaking marketing, admissions and recruitment activities as required. This role will support the implementation of the University’s Global Engagement Plans and the achievement of international student recruitment targets. Hybrid working may be available for this role on completion of a successful induction period. Interviews are anticipated to be held 28 January 2025.
