About the Company

- Working with a top 50 Practice with sites across Wales seeking to add a Senior Audit Manager to the team. This role will be for someone who has ambitions to become an RI. About the Role Plan and review client work efficiently. Hold pre-audit meetings to identify key issues. Prepare time budgets for assignments to ensure profitability. Ensure detailed audit plans are completed. Brief and debrief audit staff on client details. Review work promptly and address issues. Ensure audit files are complete for Partner review. Monitor job progress and communicate issues. Record all hours worked accurately. Prepare and review fee schedules and bills. Draft management letters and finalize accounts. Attend client meetings as needed. Team Management Assign varied jobs to trainees for broad training. Conduct six-monthly appraisals and sign off training records. Provide feedback and identify development areas after each job. Manage specific office responsibilities. Business Development and Ad Hoc Work Identify opportunities for additional services. Target new clients through networking and referrals. Undertake ad-hoc projects. Involve other experts when relevant. Use marketing materials and resources. Participate in tenders and presentations. Coach team members to spot opportunities. Decision-Making Parameters Allocate staff to assignments. Set job budgets. Recommend fees to the Partner. Decide on billing and write-offs. Make technical decisions. Refer contentious issues to the Partner. Decide on-site presence if the client is not ready. Qualifications and Skills

- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with 3+ years of experience. Experience with corporate tax and company secretarial work. Up-to-date with accounting standards. Experience with OMBs in various industries. Proficient in MS Excel & Word; preferred experience with Sage, CaseWare, and tax software. Strong leadership and team development skills. Client-focused and commercially minded. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Able to understand complex business issues and offer solutions. Positive approach to change. Benefits
