Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wills & Probate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with the ability to effectively represent clients in the above matters. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the law while providing exceptional service to clients. This role would suit a more mature candidate or retired solicitor who wants to work part time. Must live within easy reach of New Mills, SK22 4AA. Local candidate preferred as much of our work is local and a good understanding of our area would be helpful. Duties Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a variety of issues, including contracts, disputes, and compliance with regulations. Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes. Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case developments. Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal precedents that may affect client cases. Qualifications A qualified solicitor with a practicing certificate. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Previous experience in a specific area of law is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about the law and are eager to contribute positively to our team. This position is part time, 2-3 days per week (or more if demand requires), and we are very flexible with days, time, and out of office work. Job Type:
