About Blank Street

At Blank Street, we believe that rituals matter and that great rituals make your life better. With coffee shops across the US and UK, we are working to transform the high street grab-and-go coffee transaction into an experience that is higher in quality, hospitality, and joy. Our Values

Magic is in the Details:

We value attention to detail in everything we do. We're always thinking about the small things that make a moment meaningful. Move as One:

We value people who strive to be the best team player, not individual stars. “My Home is your Home” Hospitality:

We look for individuals who treat others the same way they'd treat a guest in their home. We care about presentation, hospitality, and having fun even when things are stressful. What’s Brewing?

We’re looking for an Interior Designer who is passionate about creating exceptional consumer experiences and excited to revolutionise the future of coffee shops. In this role, you will engage in all phases of our design and build process — from test fits and concept design to construction administration. This role is based in London, UK. Periodic travel may be required. Responsibilities

Innovate on our existing design standards:

Work closely with internal teams to design forward-thinking environments that reflect the brand’s identity and improve customer experience. Collaborate to define and maintain an on-brand project aesthetic appropriate to each market, while researching new materials, furniture, and design elements that will be part of our store design evolution. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Partner with different departments to ensure the design of our new stores considers the implementation of new insights into a great customer & barista experience. Seamless Execution:

Design, document, and execute multiple high-quality projects simultaneously by collaborating with external consultants and contractors. Oversee the design execution from planning to construction, ensuring we meet quality standards, stay within budget, and meet timelines. Qualifications

BArch / MArch degree in a design or design-related field, including but not limited to Interior Design or Architecture; 9+ years of professional design and construction experience in high-quality commercial or hospitality projects. Mixed-use residential, cultural, and institutional experiences will also be considered; Proficient in BIM (Revit), all things Google, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite. Who You Are

You deliver outstanding high-quality design and are passionate about pushing creative boundaries while ensuring practical execution. Extensive experience in creating design documentation and ensuring that all details are planned and recorded, while understanding building codes, accessibility requirements, and zoning regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all phases of the project. Deep knowledge of interior design trends, materials, and innovative technologies that can be integrated into our spaces. Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills. Excellent decision-making skills; highly resourceful problem solver. Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude, but open to feedback with strong time management skills. Excellent organisational and ‘people’ skills. What We Offer

Exclusive access to our coveted Regulars program – yes, that means free matcha and more! Private health and dental insurance. 25 Days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays). A great culture with regular team events. Equity package. *Portfolios must be submitted for consideration.
