Job Title: Finance Manager (3-Month Contract) We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join the finance team of a luxury lifestyle hospitality company on an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role. In this role, you will manage the accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for our operations, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness. You will also work closely with Heads of Departments to provide insightful financial guidance and strategic support across various functions. Based in central London working on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in the office. What you’ll do… Lead the month-end close process for all UK entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial results in compliance with global directives (IFRS) and local reporting standards Collaborate regularly with global finance teams, coordinating intercompany reconciliations, recharges, and cash pool movements Oversee the preparation and review of a robust balance sheet, including monthly reconciliations and accurate accruals Perform monthly reviews with budget holders to provide a comprehensive understanding of performance against budgets Deliver timely and accurate month-end reporting (P&L + Balance Sheet) into our consolidation tool Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary on monthly results Manage UK accounts receivables, ensuring accurate and timely invoice issuance and reconciliation Contribute to improving financial reporting efficiency and accuracy, and implement best practices across the group Document and deliver improvements in financial controls, processes, and procedural policies in collaboration with operational teams Assist with finance system implementation projects, including automating accounts receivable processes Review and submit the quarterly VAT return Manage financial reporting compliance, including external audits and statutory reporting What we’re looking for… Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Extensive experience running the month-end close for a medium-sized group Proven track record in delivering regular, insightful management reporting for small and medium businesses Knowledge and experience of VAT regulations Advanced Excel skills Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders Experience in preparing budgets and forecasts Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and collaborate across different teams A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving Paying £350p.d.
