The Role We’re looking for an Enterprise Credit Underwriter with a background in payments or financial analysis to join our London team. As part of the Credit Risk team, you will underwrite enterprise customer applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills and a solid understanding of various business models to conduct effective credit risk reviews. You’ll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to make informed underwriting decisions that support our credit risk management initiatives. What you will do… Conduct comprehensive credit risk reviews

on prospective merchants, focusing on business model analysis and employing complex evaluation techniques for optimal underwriting outcomes. Perform detailed financial analysis

of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for complex business models, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles. Confidently assess applications

within their own delegated approval limit, empowered to make informed judgments and approvals for their own and teammates’ credit submissions. Contribute to Dojo’s continuous improvement

by making detailed recommendations to enhance existing underwriting processes and systems. Collaborate with Sales and Account Management

to represent Underwriting in customer meetings and calls, effectively communicating credit conclusions and ensuring alignment with client needs and Dojo’s risk appetite. Assist wider Underwriting team members

through credit risk training initiatives. What You Will Bring… A background in credit risk or financial analysis , preferably in the payments or financial services sectors as familiarity with payment schemes is highly desirable. The financial acumen

to proficiently evaluate financial statements and adept at balancing risk with business objectives in complex deal structures. Industry Insight,

bringing a solid understanding of payment nuances and industry trends, particularly in high-value sectors like healthcare, hospitality, leisure and events. Track record in underwriting large, complex enterprise deals

with strong expertise in merchant underwriting, credit insurance or commercial lending. Excellent communication skills , written and verbal. You’ll be collaborative and have experience presenting analyses to senior management, as well as the ability to articulate recommendations clearly across functions. Strong organisational skills

with the proactive initiative to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure, showcasing systematic planning and coordination to meet deadlines while maintaining quality. Attention to detail ; an exceptional focus on accuracy and adherence to credit policies in a fast-paced environment and a thorough approach in all aspects of underwriting. Relevant degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is desirable, but not required. Dojo from the get-go First launch was back in 2009.
