This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and creative community team working with young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The Home Treatment Team works with 12–18-year-olds experiencing a crisis in their mental health wellbeing, providing clinical assessment and intervention services. Work collaboratively with staff within other agencies to meet the complex mental health needs of children and young people. Main duties of the job

To provide a highly specialist systemic family therapy service to clients across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Community. Responsibilities include: Coordinating, developing, and delivering a variety of family and systemic interventions. Offering advice and consultation on clients’ care to colleagues and non-professional carers. Accountability for professional actions and interpreting broad occupational policies. Member of the multi-disciplinary team within CAMHS. Provision of family and systemic psychotherapy service at a highly specialist level. Delivery of a full range of family treatments. Undertake detailed and highly specialist systemic assessment of children and families. Provide risk assessments from a systemic/relational perspective. Work sensitively with families from diverse backgrounds. Act as care coordinator, ensuring appropriate care packages. Person specification

Education / Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in relevant mental health/social welfare profession. Masters/Diploma level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy. Maintenance of UKCP Registration. Experience

Minimum three years practice in relevant first profession. Experience working with children and families with complex mental health problems. Experience of risk assessment and management. Knowledge & Skills

Ability to create sustainable working alliances. Specialist skills in systemic theories and interventions. Well-developed communication skills. Other
