Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? As the

Head of Engineering , you'll spearhead a team of multi-skilled engineers, oversee critical projects, and ensure that all preventative and routine maintenance meets the highest standards. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, optimising efficiency, and upholding uncompromising standards in food safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver engineering and innovation projects to support current and future business goals. Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring objectives are achieved within set deadlines and budgets. Oversee external suppliers and contractors, ensuring strict compliance with safety and food safety protocols. Identify potential risks and implement strategies to guarantee seamless project execution. Provide technical support to Product Development, from concept through to launch. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to boost capacity, efficiency, and sustainability. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a passionate and driven professional who thrives in a challenging and evolving setting. The ideal candidate will possess: A relevant qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering. Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Expertise in steam systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, process control, pumps, drives, valves, and instrumentation. Exceptional leadership skills with a strong background in managing teams and projects. Familiarity with BRC food safety standards and an excellent understanding of health and safety regulations. Outstanding problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong IT and communication skills.
