Role Overview :
As an Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting client sites across the country to deliver and install cutting-edge VoIP solutions. You will provide on-site and remote support to clients, assisting with technical challenges and ensuring their communication systems run smoothly post-installation.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, design, and implement customized VoIP solutions tailored to client requirements.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP hardware and software (IP phones, routers, switches, servers).
Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for VoIP systems, promptly addressing any issues.
Monitor VoIP network performance, optimising call quality and system reliability as needed.
Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards, including the implementation of encryption and access controls.
Document VoIP configurations, network diagrams, and installation processes.
Train clients and end-users on VoIP system features and functionality.
Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience with VoIP system installation, configuration, and support.
Strong understanding of VoIP protocols, codecs, and SIP.
Knowledge of network protocols and LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers and switches.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Certifications such as CCNA or VoIP-specific credentials are advantageous.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
