Our Major Programme Services (MPS) team is looking for exceptional PMO Specialists. As part of PA’s Delivery stream, MPS works across Defence, major projects & infrastructure, transport, energy and utilities, and the public sector in client-facing roles on long-term assignments. We are expanding further across the UK due to high demand. As a Project Manager/PMO specialist, you will guide and execute complex projects and programmes, using your expertise in planning & scheduling, risk management, and budgeting. You will create insightful reports to guide decision making and add value for our clients. Your strengths in engaging with people and making sense of complicated situations will be key. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, shaping projects and programmes that drive meaningful impact. Location Flexible working - we operate in a hybrid environment, with limited office attendance required. Client locations include: Bristol Andover Portsmouth Cardiff Swindon You will have the opportunity to: Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and execute project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines. Apply various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) as appropriate. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies. Foster strong client relationships through regular communication and project updates. Monitor project budgets and resource allocation. Implement effective change management strategies. Undertake stakeholder engagement activities. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. About You Sole British nationality is required, as this role involves working with secure clients. Experience in project management consulting/PMO or related roles. Strong expertise in applying various project management methodologies. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in Project Management is desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
