The Configuration Practitioner is responsible for determining and administering configuration management which includes: Apply and administer Configuration Planning Configuration Identification Configuration Change Management Configuration Status Accounting Configuration Verification and Audits in compliance with Customer, Company, Security, and Program Standards Support the ongoing CM processes, including CMMI, IPDP and CM internal audit gate review activities Manage digital files and work products Provide support for proposals, quotations and budget/cost reviews Determine data management requirements and administer data management to ensure compliance with contract requirements The Configuration Practitioner works closely with Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, Configuration Management, and functional personnel assigned to the program to accomplish this task. The Configuration Practitioner is responsible for: Ensuring that all required deliverable and non-deliverable contract data are properly identified, scheduled, marked, approved, inspected, submitted, and accepted Supporting PMO activities Supporting ongoing Data Management processes, including CMMI, IPDP and DM internal audit gate review activities Managing digital files and work products Providing support for proposals, quotations and budget/cost reviews Acting as an advocate of the Configuration, Data, & Change processes: guiding, training, and assisting process users Ensuring all program-related information is effectively stored and controlled when the contract close-out activity is completed Candidate Requirements:

Personnel assigned to this role possess the basic knowledge, skills and experience but the organization desires the following additional knowledge, skills or experience: Experience working with requirements change management and requirements management repositories would be advantageous Awareness of / experience of working with software baseline and release management would be advantageous Experience providing configuration management on a project is required Familiarity with Defence Hardware projects is advantageous About Raytheon UK
