TfL, Perm, Band 4 Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements. Overview of project/role The Senior Portfolio Integration Manager is accountable for leading portfolio management across the Elizabeth line portfolios to establish and manage a robust, co-ordinated, and integrated approach. They will represent Business Performance across the portfolio; deliver the accountabilities as outlined in the JD and they will lead on strategic plans to 2030 and beyond. Key Accountabilities Leading on creating and managing the annual balanced scorecard and associated improvement plans to drive continuous improvement in the Elizabeth line’s business performance. Lead on discrete pieces of strategic work that need problem solving and resolution, e.g. programme management of journey to 2030. Horizon scanning across the portfolio for opportunities for continuous improvement and refinement. Accountable for active management and mitigation of strategic operational risks for the Elizabeth line. Represent Business Performance at the Elizabeth line’s Change Assurance Panel. Accountable for the closeout of Crossrail change control ensuring alignment to strategic priorities. Oversee the design and programme management of the EL Sustainability Plan. Scanning the external market and environment for best practice to provide suitable recommendations. Demonstrate inclusive leadership through the line management of a small team up to 3 people. Deputise for the Head of Business Performance and represent the team across the Elizabeth line and wider organisation. Skills, Knowledge & Experience Skills Strong leadership and influencing skills. Ability to interpret strategies into action plans. Ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders. Ability to show resilience when faced with conflicting priorities. Ability to negotiate across all stakeholder groups. Ability to have a longer-term strategic vision. Knowledge Knowledge of railway operation and maintenance practices (essential). Knowledge of programme management principles (essential). Knowledge of TfL’s business management systems (essential). Knowledge of commercial relationships and procurement (essential). Knowledge of working in a safety-critical railway environment (desirable). Knowledge of delivering programmes in a regulated environment (essential). Business degree or relevant professional qualification (essential). Knowledge of the delivery requirements of the Elizabeth line (desirable). Experience Experience at a senior level in a complex programme. Experience leading and motivating people. Experience driving decision making. Experience building effective working relationships.
