Experienced Site Manager Wanted for High Voltage Project in Dunbar
Our client, a leading company specialising in high voltage projects, is seeking an experienced site manager to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for closing out the project at our converter station located in Dunbar.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the site manager of this crucial project, you will be expected to take charge of various tasks including but not limited to quality control measures and working closely with civil contractors on site. You should have experience managing snagging works as well as ensuring that all work meets industry standards.
Qualifications Required:
To qualify for consideration by our client's requirements, candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as SMSTS or SSSTS certificates along with CSCS cards (black). Experience working within civil engineering would also give applicants an added advantage during the selection process.
Skills Needed:
The ideal applicant should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and strong problem-solving abilities which enable them to deal effectively with challenging situations while maintaining cordial relationships between management teams and workers under their supervision.
Rate & Duration:
This position offers competitive rates starting from £350 per day depending on the level of expertise demonstrated during the interview stage. This rate is negotiable, and at this stage, I am keeping this figure open. The job itself comes with a minimum guarantee period lasting up until three months; however, it can be extended based on mutual agreement between parties involved.
The client has made it clear they have a 3-year scheme starting elsewhere in Scotland and would happily keep the candidate and move to this project if they are satisfied with their progress.
